Fashion Must Reads
There is so much fashion content available from the Internet, social media and books today. I can remember a time when it was a challenge to find anything to read involving fashion. I would have to wait for the weekly fashion articles to appear in newspapers and monthly magazines. I’ll never forget moving to Los Angeles fresh out of fashion school and the experience I had at a local bookstore. On my hunt to satiate my appetite for reading anything related to the industry, I found no books and I encountered sales people who laughed at my inquiry. Feeling dejected and frustrated I had to go about searching industry news in other ways. Years later, my love of books and fashion has not waned. As a fashion educator, I have stocked my classroom library with these titles and encourage my students to read. Please share your book titles and let’s grow our libraries and expand our students minds. Here is my current list of my favorite fashion books…Happy Reading!
